Starting from each village, there are signposted walks to help you discover our beautiful region. Two walks, of 6 and 10 km, start just 200 m from the holiday home.

Just 500 m from « L’Hirondelle », the RAVeL is a comfortable and safe network of greenways built on former railway lines.  It’s the ideal place for your family outings, whether on foot, by bike or inline skates…

This magnificent 14th-century castle dominates the Warche. It’s well worth a visit! There is a snack bar on site, where you can sample the castle’s beer. And why not combine your visit with an introduction to archery or a nice hike? 

Malmedy’s tourist and cultural centre is located in a former monastery. Here you’ll find museums of leather workshops, paper and paper-making, the carnival, the cathedral treasury and temporary exhibitions.

This is undoubtedly one of Belgium’s most beautiful regions. Its strengths lie in the diversity of its landscapes, the quality of its environment and nature, and its natural and cultural history. The park house is located in Botrange, Belgium’s highest point, just 14 km from “L’Hirondelle”.

Recht is home to a former slate quarry. During your visit, you’ll be able to admire the gigantic halls where Recht slate was mined. And don’t forget to grab a bite to eat and a drink at the Biermuseum!

Located in Stavelot Abbey, this museum traces the history of the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Many vehicles are on display.
